Below is the regular
'Watches for Sale' section. These are all close-outs, to make
room for my own line.
All of these watches come
with a 5 day return privilege, no questions asked. I understand
that some of these watches may be unfamiliar, so I want you to feel
confident of your purchases. If any watch should fail to meet
your expectations you are welcome to return it for a refund (less
flat-rate shipping cost of $15). I have checked out these
watches/brands carefully, and know that they represent an excellent
value for your money. I feel confident that you will be pleased
with their quality. Because some of the smaller brands have less
marketing costs and overhead, they oftentimes represent a better value
than the bigger-name brands. Since so many manufacturers are
using similar movements (ETA and Valjoux), the meaning of the
'brand-name' has less significance than it did 50 years ago (when many
brands made their own movements).
There is a flat
rate shipping charge of $15 via Priority Insured Mail.
Except as
indicated, all of the
watches shown are brand new, never worn, in either a box or a pouch
(as noted) and come with a 1 year warranty.

Operating Instructions
Since most of the above watches use the same ETA movement, their
operating instructions are all pretty similar. Most of the
watches have a screw-down crown (winder), which helps maintain
water-resistance. To wind or set watches with a screw-down
crown, it is first necessary to unscrew the crown (turn it
counter-clockwise/towards you). The crown then has 3
positions. The furthest position in (which is it's 'default'
position after unscrewing it) will allow you wind the watch
manually. Pull the crown out to the middle position to quick-set
the date (turn it clockwise to advance the date). Pull the crown
out to it's furthest position to set the time. You'll need to go
around a few times to determine noon from midnight (so the date
changes at 12 midnight instead of 12 noon). Once the date and
time are set, push the crown all the way in and then screw it down.
